Active Voice और Passive Voice क्या है? (नियम, उदाहरण और टिप्स)

अंग्रेज़ी व्याकरण (English Grammar) में Voice का मतलब होता है — वाक्य में क्रिया (verb) और कर्ता (subject) के संबंध का तरीका। Voice दो प्रकार के होते हैं: Active Voice और Passive Voice। इन दोनों का सही प्रयोग लिखने और बोलने की गुणवत्ता को बेहतर बनाता है।

  


🔹 1. Active Voice क्या है?

जब वाक्य का कर्त्ता (subject) स्वयं कार्य करता है, तो वह वाक्य Active Voice कहलाता है।

🔸 संरचना (Structure):

Subject + Verb + Object

🔸 उदाहरण:

1. राम ने खाना खाया।

➡ Ram ate food.

(यहाँ Ram स्वयं खाना खा रहा है — वह subject है और action कर रहा है।)


🔹 2. Passive Voice क्या है?

जब वाक्य में object को मुख्य रूप से दिखाया जाता है और subject या तो गायब होता है या अंत में आता है, तो वह वाक्य Passive Voice कहलाता है।

🔸 संरचना (Structure):

Object + Form of "be" + Past Participle (V3) + by + Subject (optional)

🔸 उदाहरण:

1.खाना राम द्वारा खाया गया।

➡ Food was eaten by Ram.

In this example (यहाँ Food मुख्य भूमिका में है और Ram अंत में है।)


🧠 Passive Voice बनाने के नियम

Passive Voice बनाते समय हमें क्रिया का रूप और Tense का विशेष ध्यान रखना होता है। नीचे सभी Tense के नियम दिए गए हैं:


✅ 1. Simple Present Tense

Active: She writes a letter.

Passive: A letter is written by her.

🔹 Rule: is/am/are + V3


✅ 2. Present Continuous Tense

Active: They are playing football.

Passive: Football is being played by them.


🔹 Rule: is/am/are + being + V3


✅ 3. Present Perfect Tense


Active: He has completed the work.

Passive: The work has been completed by him.


🔹 Rule: has/have + been + V3


✅ 4. Simple Past Tense

Active: She sang a song.

Passive: A song was sung by her.

✅ 5. Past Continuous Tense


Active: He was reading a book.

Passive: A book was being read by him.


🔹 Rule: was/were + being + V3


✅ 6. Past Perfect Tense


Active: They had built a house.

Passive: A house had been built by them.


🔹 Rule: had + been + V3


✅ 7. Simple Future Tense


Active: She will cook dinner.

Passive: Dinner will be cooked by her.


🔹 Rule: will/shall + be + V3


✅ 8. Future Perfect Tense


Active: He will have completed the project.

Passive: The project will have been completed by him.



🔹 Rule: will/shall + have been + V3


🛑 ध्यान देने योग्य बातें:

1. Passive Voice में क्रिया हमेशा Past Participle (V3) रूप में होती है।

✔️ write → written, eat → eaten, make → made


2. Passive Voice का प्रयोग तब किया जाता है जब कर्ता (subject) अनजान हो या ज़रूरी न हो।

➤ Example: The window was broken. (किसने तोड़ी, यह ज़रूरी नहीं)


3. कुछ वाक्य ऐसे होते हैं जिन्हें Passive Voice में नहीं बदला जा सकता, जैसे — Intransitive verbs (cry, go, sleep) वाले वाक्य।

Some examples of active and passive voice:-


1. Active: The chef cooked a delicious meal.

Hindi: शेफ ने स्वादिष्ट खाना बनाया।

Passive: A delicious meal was cooked by the chef.

Hindi: स्वादिष्ट खाना शेफ द्वारा बनाया गया।


2.Active: She writes a letter every week.

Hindi: वह हर हफ्ते एक पत्र लिखती है।

Passive: A letter is written by her every week.

Hindi: एक पत्र हर हफ्ते उसके द्वारा लिखा जाता है।


3.Active: The teacher explained the lesson.

Hindi: शिक्षक ने पाठ समझाया।

Passive: The lesson was explained by the teacher.

Hindi: पाठ शिक्षक द्वारा समझाया गया।


4.Active: The dog chased the cat.

Hindi: कुत्ते ने बिल्ली का पीछा किया।

Passive: The cat was chased by the dog.

Hindi: बिल्ली का पीछा कुत्ते द्वारा किया गया।


5.Active: He will complete the project tomorrow.

Hindi: वह प्रोजेक्ट कल पूरा करेगा।

Passive: The project will be completed by him tomorrow.

Hindi: प्रोजेक्ट कल उसके द्वारा पूरा किया जाएगा।


6.Active: They have built a new school.

Hindi: उन्होंने एक नया स्कूल बनाया है।

Passive: A new school has been built by them.

Hindi: एक नया स्कूल उनके द्वारा बनाया गया है।


7.Active: We watch movies on weekends.

Hindi: हम सप्ताहांत पर फिल्में देखते हैं।

Passive: Movies are watched by us on weekends.

Hindi: सप्ताहांत पर फिल्में हमारे द्वारा देखी जाती हैं।


8.Active: The manager is reviewing the report.

Hindi: मैनेजर रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा कर रहा है।

Passive: The report is being reviewed by the manager.

Hindi: रिपोर्ट की समीक्षा मैनेजर द्वारा की जा रही है।



9.Active: I cleaned the room yesterday.

Hindi: मैंने कल कमरा साफ किया।

Passive: The room was cleaned by me yesterday.

Hindi: कमरा कल मेरे द्वारा साफ किया गया।


10.Active: Someone stole my bicycle.

Hindi

: किसी ने मेरी साइकिल चुरा ली।

Passive: My bicycle was stolen.

Hindi: मेरी साइकिल चुरा ली गई।
