 Kinds of Sentences:-

Introduction ( परिचय)

Language is a way to express our thoughts, emotions, questions, and commands.

भाषा हमारे विचारों, भावनाओं, सवालों और आदेशों को व्यक्त करने का माध्यम है।

In both English and Hindi, sentences are categorized based on their purpose and structure.

अंग्रेज़ी और हिंदी दोनों में, वाक्य उनके उद्देश्य और बनावट के आधार पर वर्गीकृत किए जाते हैं

1. Assertive Sentence:-

These sentences state facts, information, or opinions. They end with a full stop (.)

ये वाक्य किसी तथ्य, जानकारी या विचार को व्यक्त करते हैं। ये पूर्णविराम (।) पर समाप्त होते हैं।

1.I am a student.

  -मैं एक छात्र हूँ।

2. The sky is blue.

 -आसमान नीला है।

3. She lives in Delhi.

- वह दिल्ली में रहती है।

✅ Use: To make statements or share information.

✅ उपयोग: जानकारी देने या कथन करने के लिए।

2. Interrogative Sentences | प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य

These sentences ask questions and end with a question mark (?)

ये वाक्य प्रश्न पूछते हैं और प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) पर समाप्त होते हैं।

Examples | उदाहरण:

1.What is your name?

तुम्हारा नाम क्या है?

2.Are you coming today?

क्या तुम आज आ रहे हो?

3. Do you like coffee?

क्या तुम्हें कॉफ़ी पसंद है?

✅ Use: To ask for information.

✅ उपयोग: जानकारी पूछने के लिए।

3. Imperative Sentences | आज्ञार्थक वाक्य

These sentences give commands, advice, or requests. The subject (you) is usually understood.

ये वाक्य आज्ञा, सुझाव या निवेदन व्यक्त करते हैं। "तुम" या "आप" छिपा होता है।

Examples | उदाहरण:

1.Please sit down.

कृपया बैठ जाइए।

2.Open the door.

दरवाज़ा खोलो।

Don’t shout.

चिल्लाओ मत।

✅ Use: To command or request someone.

✅ उपयोग: किसी को आदेश देने या निवेदन करने के लिए।

4. Exclamatory Sentences | विस्मयादिबोधक वाक्य

These sentences express strong feelings like joy, surprise, or sadness. They end with an exclamation mark (!)

ये वाक्य प्रबल भावनाएं व्यक्त करते हैं जैसे ख़ुशी, आश्चर्य, दुःख आदि और विस्मय बोधक चिन्ह (!) से समाप्त होते हैं।

Examples | उदाहरण:

1.What a beautiful day!

कितना सुंदर दिन है!

2.Oh no! I lost my keys!

अरे नहीं! मेरी चाबियाँ खो गईं!

3. Hurray! We won the match!

हुर्रे! हमने मैच जीत लिया!

✅ Use: To express emotions.

✅ उपयोग: भावनाओं को व्यक्त करने के लिए।
